Make business texting more intentional. Use SMS to continue relevant conversations, share helpful updates, and respond when timing matters—with permission at the center.
SMS functionality and sending eligibility depend on account configuration, messaging compliance, and provider availability.

WHEN TIMING MATTERS
Text with a purpose, not just to be heard.
SMS is most effective when recipients expect it and the message helps them take a relevant next step.
01
Follow up after interest
Continue a conversation after an inquiry when the person has agreed to receive messages.
02
Share useful information
Send a requested link, clarification or update without forcing clients to search through email.
03
Keep the next step visible
Use relevant reminders and responses where your configuration and consent allow them.
CLEAR COMMUNICATION
A helpful message starts before you press Send.
Knowing who wants to hear from you, why you are contacting them, and what they should do next makes SMS more useful to both sides.

CONNECTED WORKFLOWS
SMS is a channel. Relationships are the goal.
Reach helps capture interest and relevant details. Orbit helps organize the contacts and relationship context. SMS can then become an appropriate communication channel when enabled and correctly configured.
These capabilities have distinct roles; integrations and automated actions should be verified for each account before being promised.
Business texting requires more than a message composer. Sender configuration, consent records, message costs, recipient location, and applicable laws can affect what is permitted.
Elavix SMS Messenger uses Twilio-related infrastructure; availability, numbers, fees, registration and approved use cases must be confirmed for the client's account before activation.
ConsentAppropriate opt-in for the intended message category

COMMON QUESTIONS
Understand how SMS fits.
Does SMS replace email or a CRM?+
No. SMS is a communication channel. Email and Orbit CRM serve different roles and can complement it.
Can I text anyone who gives me their phone number?+
No. Having a phone number alone does not establish the consent needed for business messaging. Follow applicable laws, messaging-provider requirements and the purpose of the communication.
Does SMS work automatically with Reach and Orbit?+
Any specific integration or automation depends on your account setup and enabled features. Confirm the workflow before using it in production.
Are phone numbers and message fees included?+
Phone numbers and messaging charges are set up and paid through Twilio, separately from the Elavix platform.
Does SMS support STOP requests?+
Yes. When a recipient replies STOP or OPTOUT, Twilio processes the opt-out. Elavix does not handle that opt-out action directly.
